Shipping policy
At House of MyNia, the health and safety of our plants and animals is our top priority. To ensure all live arrivals remain in optimal condition, we follow strict shipping guidelines.
Shipping Days
We only ship Monday through Wednesday to prevent delays or extended transit times over the weekend. We typically need 3-4 days to process orders. Any live plant or animal orders that are processed within our Monday through Wednesday shipping timeframes will be shipped that Monday through Wednesday. Otherwise, processing will be delayed and they will be shipped the following week from Monday to Wednesday. Sometimes, holidays may affect this policy. All live animal shipments will be shipped to a FedEx or UPS hub for pickup. Live plants can be shipped to a residence. We also only ship live plants and animals when weather permits-typically when temperatures are between 40°F to 89°F. We will only ship live animlas to residential addresses on a case by case basis when weather permits-typically temperatures must be between 70°F to 75°F at our local hub, your local hub, and our residential address. These requests must be submitted to us directly using our "Contact Us" form for consideration.
Live Animal Shipping Options
All live animals are shipped overnight only. This ensures the shortest possible transit time and minimizes stress, protecting the health and well-being of the animal.
Live Plant Shipping Options
For live plants, we only offer overnight or 2–3 day shipping options only. These methods are required to maintain plant health during transit. Slower shipping methods are not available for live plants due to the risk of damage or decline.
Non-Perishable Item Shipping Options
For all non-living products, customers may choose their preferred shipping method at checkout from the options provided, as these items are not affected by extended transit times.
Transfer of Responsibility
Once a live animal is delivered and confirmed to have arrived in good health, full responsibility for the animal transfers to the buyer.
- House of MyNia is not responsible for the animal’s care, condition, or well-being after successful delivery
- It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide proper care, housing, and environment immediately upon arrival
- Failure to properly care for the animal after delivery is the sole responsibility of the buyer
We appreciate your understanding as these policies are in place to ensure every plant and animal arrives healthy, safe, and ready to thrive.
